Cool, Neat Way to Get Corn off the Cob

My friend Carol Arnold told me about this and it works really well with a bundt or angel food pan. The pan holds the cob and catches the corn.

  1. Wow - it IS a neat idea. Finally - a use for those crazy bundt pans . . .

  2. Just what I was thinking! I'll dust off that old bundt pan tomorrow! Please give a hint of measurements for the un-gifted cooks among us. (me)

  3. The comment about measurements was for the Charmoula and Gazpacho, btw, not the corn. I'm not completely un-gifted ;)

  4. Ok--for the charmoula I used a bunch of cilantro, juice of a lemon, maybe a quarter teaspoon of cumin, teaspoon of chili paste, a couple of cloves of garlic, and enough olive oil to make the cuisinart go 'round.

  5. I made the Charmoula last night and it was/is fantastic! Thanks for the measurements - I would have been lost without the help. I had it with the orzo and eggplant/onions/tomatoes. Delicious...can't wait for the next adventure!
